As a Junior Export Control Data Analyst, you will be responsible for reporting activities within the Central Export Control (EC) Team.

In your new role you will:

  • Define reports based on Trade Compliance logics and business needs;
  • Collect, analyze and document data from multiple sources with focus on export controls;
  • Create clear and easy to read data for users;
  • Optimize or automate different data related processes for further re-use;
  • Identify and create persuasive presentations to enable the implementation of initiatives that drive operational efficiency;
  • Act as interface between Central EC and IT and provide customer-oriented presentations;
  • Perform Sanctioned Party Screening activities and other EC related tasks;
  • Support and advise other organizations on operational Export Control matters.

You demonstrate a strong customer orientation and communication skills that support you in quickly establishing successful relations with others. You enjoy working in an international environment, demonstrate high quality standards for your work and generate value with your ideas and solutions.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A Bachelor degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Natural Science, Engineering or similar field;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and in data cleaning languages, especially SQL;
  • Proficiency in a programming language, such as Python;
  • Creative mind for clear data visualization;
  • Experience with operating software (Business Objects; Tableau; others);
  • Experience with machine learning is a plus;
  • Analytic skills;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Collaborative work in international teams inspires you;
  • Fluency in English.
